8 hours of drawing a day
multiple projects
that require 50+ hours of effort for the possibility of at least a C grade
for every class
for every week
and we still find time,
at 2 in the morning
to walk 5 blocks up hill to the park
to chain smoke
to have hookah circles
to roll up some blunts and smoke a few bowls
to chain smoke some more
every single night
no matter what
to gather our thoughts and relax
and talk and socialize
and just feel alive
it’s beauty in your own self destruction
i love it

7 am and I still can’t sleep.
My throats numb and I can’t decide wether I feel hot or cold.
Some of us stayed at the park a little longer than usual.
By 3 am the six of us that were left ended up lying in the grass in a circle.
Alex’s super color changing hooka in the center.
It just felt amazing
and most of us were pretty ready to fly by that point.
Around 4, two people fell asleep on the bench.
Me and kyrstle went on the swings and ended up lying on the monkey bars.
4:30 we pack up the hookahs and head back.
I somehow went through 2 packs of cigarettes today.
Sitting in the tv room right now. Left my room when I noticed the pigeons leaving their usual spot outside my window.
Funny how far into today the morning’s already gone.
I’ll try and take a nap after class later

College just started for me
And I’ve been in the city for a little over a week now.
i’ts been crazy. really really.
its true the city changes people. friends have noticed i’m talking way more
like way way more. and im just happy.
My first 3 classes are…
-Analysis of Form
-Figure Modeling
-and Figure Drawing…
its seriously great and teachers are just amazing.

Its weird.
and it’s finally hit me that i’m surrounded by artists
and its weird how every single person here is easy to talk to,
everybody’s just so open.
culture shock?
i’m horrible at writing but whatever
my college experience is different
its exactly where i want to be
and i think i might finally be happy

so many things could’ve gone right

Tomorrow’s moving day.
Academy of Art San Francisco!
I cant wait.
But i think theres a few things i still need to do

So I’m moving out in 2 days.
